Streamline Renewables wants to tell you about the Canada Greener Homes Grant program, providing rebates to Canadian homeowners equipping energy retrofits to their existing residential property.

Key details regarding the Canada Greener Homes Grant:
For eligibility, you must:
• Apply to the rebate program online: Apply Here
• Complete an EnerGuide evaluation before and after the completion of installation of a solar PV system via a certified Energy Advisor: Apply Here
• Complete the installation of a solar PV system that is both eligible and recommended by your energy advisor in their report. Only homeowners who complete this step will be reimbursed. Keep copies of all documents until March 31, 2028.
Note: Unfortunately, new homes are not eligible for this grant.

Once the installation is completed, you will be reimbursed for:
• Up to $5,000 total ($1,000 per kW up to 5kW) for the implementation of a renewable solar PV system.
• Up to $600 for the cost of the pre & post retrofit EnerGuide evaluation. You will not be reimbursed for the pre-retrofit evaluation unless you complete the full Greener Homes Grant process.
• Batteries connected to solar PV systems may also eligible for a $1,000 rebate.
